Where We Are Today
Most early foundations describe their ambitions and let readers assume those are results. This page does the opposite: what we have actually built, what we have not done yet, and what happens next. When we have outcomes worth reporting, they will appear here with numbers attached.
What Exists Today
The platform
A working member platform with accounts, profiles, resume upload and AI-assisted review, an events system with registration and invites, a training and credits catalogue, and an admin backend.
Programme design
Six programmes are designed and documented end to end: workforce transition, AI credits and training cohorts, startup incubation, micro-funding, research and policy, and AI-assisted career guidance.
An events calendar
A published calendar spanning cities across India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the UAE, Egypt and Vietnam, used to seed local chapters.
Two working partnerships
Cohortea (community and mentor relationships) and Blockcritics (blockchain and Web3 pathways) are active partners.
What Has Not Happened Yet
This is the section most organisations leave out. We think it is the one that earns trust.
- No reskilling cohort has been run to completion yet.
- No micro-grants or loans have been disbursed.
- No startups have been incubated through the programme.
- No job placements have been made by EDF.
- No research papers have been published yet.
- Nonprofit registration is still in progress, so EDF is not accepting public donations and cannot offer tax-deductible receipts.
What Comes Next
Complete registration
Finish nonprofit registration and publish the entity name, jurisdiction, registration number, and fund-governance policy on this site.
Run the first cohort
Take a first workforce-transition cohort from intake to completion, and publish what actually happened — including what did not work.
Publish the first research note
Survey our community on their displacement experience and publish the findings openly, methodology included.
Seat an advisory board
Confirm and announce advisors who will hold the foundation accountable on programme quality and fund governance.
